Dr. Beatriz López is an experienced investor, educator, entrepreneur and business leader having created and managed multiple successful companies related to global advisory services, intellectual properties, and real property. Beatriz founded Perspective Education Services, Inc. (PESPR), a Puerto Rico based non-profit organization, to research transformative ideas for teacher/student engagement while providing a resource for implementing proven methodologies that integrate learning communities with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. PESPR specializes in the competitive advancement of socioeconomically challenged institutions fostering community engagement and belonging while championing lifelong learning. Beatriz received her doctoral degree in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, following receipt of her Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching of Science. Born in Mayaguez, Beatriz also earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez.
